Investor Relations Specialist

A growing Registered Investment Advisor is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to support investor communications, onboarding, and operational processes for private investments and alternative strategies. This role serves as a key point of contact for investors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with private equity, real estate, or alternative investment platforms and will be comfortable managing investor communications, subscription documentation, and reporting deliverables. Responsibilities: Manage investor communication deliverables including quarterly financials, capital activity notices, audited financial statements, and investor correspondence Maintain investor contact records and distribution lists to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of fund communications Support investor onboarding including review of subscription documents, AML/KYC documentation, tax forms, and entity formation materials Verify authorized signers and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to investor admission Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, responding to inquiries via phone and email and providing high-touch service to high-net-worth and institutional clients Maintain and update investor records including demographic information, contact details, and banking instructions Prepare allocation files and mailing lists for investor distributions and reporting events Reconcile large datasets and reporting files using Excel to ensure accuracy across investor records Participate in operational projects including investor data migrations and system implementations Assist with investor communications related to distributions, brokerage instructions, and fund updates Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in investor relations, investor services, fund administration, or client service within asset management, private equity, or real estate investment firms Familiarity with AML/KYC processes and investor onboarding documentation Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to interact with institutional and high-net-worth investors Experience with investor reporting platforms or CRM systems is a plus
