Position Summary:

An experienced shared multi‑team Investment Analyst supporting our Production Debt + Equity platform. The role is located in our Denver, CO office but supports regional teams and requires an immediate in‑office start.

Position Responsibilities

Organization / Time Management

– Plan, schedule, and prioritize workload to efficiently manage daily tasks including research, financial analysis, underwriting, loan packaging, and closing services.

Underwriting

– Prepare underwriting of commercial real estate properties based on historical financial statements, borrower models or projections, and market standards to determine projected income and provide reliable valuation and loan analysis.

Packaging

– Prepare loan request packages in compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements. Reports include narrative analysis of borrower, property, location, and market, underwriting, valuation, lease/rent roll analysis, photographs, aerials, and maps.

Research

– Provide reliable borrower, property, and market‑level data using third‑party and internal resources. Includes ownership records, property transaction history, demographics, and sales and rent comparables.

Closing

– Ensure a smooth process for all parties from application through closing. Collect and review due diligence, order third‑party reports, and maintain communication with borrowers, lenders, legal counsels, third‑party vendors, and internal servicing and insurance departments.

Client Service

– Deliver best‑in‑class experience to investors, borrowers, and internal teams with reliable, high‑quality service in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years

of full‑time financial analysis and/or underwriting experience in commercial real estate capital markets, with a preference for agency (Fannie/Freddie) underwriting. Comprehensive understanding of various property types.

Four‑year college degree required; major in real estate, finance, accounting, or business preferred.

Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and demonstrated analytical skills; capable of calculating NOI, DSC, ROC, IRR, etc.

Excellent verbal communication skills, interacting effectively with a wide variety of internal and external parties.

Strong tech knowledge and skills – expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Salesforce, ARGUS, and InDesign is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask under pressure and problem‑solving aptitude.

Resourceful, with strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Compensation Colorado residents: $70,000 – $90,000 annually, plus bonus. Compensation depends on skills, qualifications, and experience.
