Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Military Analyst/Deputy CIG to support the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) located at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert business, analytical, and technical support to the AVCOE G‑5 unit, directly contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals.
Support the five core lines of effort—Aviation Enterprise Synchronization, Strategic Communication Alignment, Future Aviation Capability Input, Strengthened Foreign Liaison Program, and Proactive Strategic Planning Cycle—to facilitate informed decision‑making aligned with Army priorities.
Ensure continuity of support for Aviation Warfighters worldwide, spanning Fort Rucker (AL), Fort Eustis (VA), and Fort Huachuca (AZ).
Qualifications
At least 20 years of experience as a Senior Planner/Military Analyst in Army Aviation.
Proven experience developing executive (2‑4 star level) briefings, speeches, information papers, and professional journal articles related to Army aviation operations, training, doctrine, and program management.
Strong proofreading and editing skills to improve the quality of others’ work and identify and correct errors.
Ability to interpret guidance and quickly incorporate changes into draft products to meet tight timelines.
Clearance Secret clearance is required.
