Director of Dining Services ! Nestled in the heart of Nevada's high desert, Humboldt County offers stunning landscapes and a close-knit community vibe. This exciting role involves overseeing a food program under NSLP guidelines, managing a frontline staff of up to 15 associates and an administrative assistant. The Director ensures efficient, cost-effective operations that delight clients and customers alike. Responsibilities span all foodservice‑related activities, including retail, cafeteria, and catering services, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and client relations. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of up to 15 frontline associates and an Admin Assistant.
Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
Own the annual budget and control costs optimally.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Food Services Management/Hospitality/Culinary or Nutrition is needed.
Five plus years of foodservice management experience.
Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends is preferred.
Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.
