Every role at Work Zone Traffic Control plays a vital part in keeping roadways across Colorado and New Mexico safe, compliant, and moving efficiently. Traffic Control Designer Duties include but not limited to:
Develop work area traffic control plans which meet customers work zone and project phasing requirements as well as determining if permit services are required
Submit plans to City/Controlling agencies for review and approval as required
Coordinate for permit services as required per customer
Attend meetings with customer and City/Controlling agencies
Manage multiple projects for timely completion meeting contractor’s schedule
Review and advise on traffic plan drawings
Log and track plans in Excel
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Displays organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Exhibits problem‑solving skills
Results oriented
