Summary:
The Sr. Account Manager will serve as a sales and account management leader to the assigned accounts; will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. This individual will utilize experience or expertise in lube additives (hydraulic, gear, compressor or turbine) to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and will have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primarily focus on selling chemical solutions and products to expand and maintain customer accounts
Actively listen to customers' needs and provide effective solutions to resolve issues and inquiries
Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions for assigned account base that focuses on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio
Serve as knowledge resource to customers using our technology to solve identified needs
Manage existing additive and chemical business for a specified geographic area/customers
Establish, maintain, prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in Zoho CRM.
Develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention, and profitability
Promote high level of ESHA awareness within the Region and participate in all company ESHA training and rules
Communicate with key stakeholders, customers, vendors, and personnel to ensure objectives are met
Implement Dorf Ketal Performance Management tools, set targets, and monitor contingency plan for responsible area
Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to by DKC such as ISO 9001. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DKC objectives and goals

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Required Skills/Abilities:
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical,) or Biology, or any related discipline, from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Lube Additive (hydraulic, gear, compressor, or turbine) technical sales or relevant industry experience
Ability to travel to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.
Additional Skills / Abilities:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving ability
Ability to be a team player
Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts
Ability to obtain all necessary clearances and certifications
Strong problem-solving abilities with customers, personnel, operations, and chemical solutions
Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong presentation and/or public speaking skills
Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
