Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Commercial Lender based in the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex. The Commercial Lender will build and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, assess creditworthiness, and perform underwriting to ensure compliance and profitability. The role involves fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships with an emphasis on C&I and Commercial Real Estate lending; and identifying new business opportunities. The Commercial Lender will collaborate closely with clients to meet their financing needs and contribute to the bank's growth goals.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in underwriting and evaluating credit applications
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Proficiency in SBA lending practices and guidelines
Background in finance with a solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management
Experience with loans, including structuring and managing commercial loan portfolios
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and lending best practices
Familiarity with the Dallas‑Fort Worth business market is a plus
