Job Summary
We are seeking a talented motion graphics professional to bring creative visions to life through compelling visual storytelling and animation. This independent role offers the opportunity to work on innovative marketing campaigns that educate and promote services for a leading technology brand. You will play a crucial part in developing and implementing a comprehensive branded motion graphics toolkit, ensuring consistency across all deliverables while maintaining a cohesive brand experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in entertainment technology or agency environments with consumer-focused experience, and possess the ability to seamlessly integrate design, animation, and finishing work. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid work schedule and the chance to work on exciting projects ranging from promotional content to innovative applications for smart TV platforms.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with design and editing leads to develop cutting-edge motion graphics for marketing campaigns
Expand and apply a comprehensive branded motion graphics toolkit tailored for various deliverables across multiple platforms
Contribute to creative planning by proposing concepts, brainstorming solutions, and addressing challenges related to scale and execution
Ensure consistency in video creative with UX design to deliver a cohesive brand experience
Integrate motion graphics with footage for content promotions
Create storyboards and develop workflows for motion design projects
Build animated frames and motion graphics from static images
Design and animate brand elements for campaigns that educate and promote services
Skills
Strong design sense for motion and visual storytelling
In-depth knowledge and proficiency in brand and systems design, typography, and 2D and 3D motion design
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
Experience with storyboard development and workflow creation
Ability to integrate motion graphics with live footage
Excellent communication skills to effectively pitch and explain creative concepts
Highly organized and detail-oriented with focus on driving measurable business impact
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to evolving business priorities
Understanding of digital asset dynamics on both B2B and B2C sides
Experience
5 or more years of experience in motion graphics design
Background in entertainment technology or agency environments preferred
Experience working on consumer-based (B2C) projects
Mix of agency and in-house roles preferred
Experience across the full workflow including design, animation, and finishing
