Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Business Intake Specialist to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, or Anchorage office(s). This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices. This position's primary tasks concern review and finalization of all new client and matter intake forms, analysis of the information submitted to accurately meet the standards and other requirements of established policies and procedures, and communication with end users. On a typical day you will: Process all data entry for new client and new matter requests ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm's data entry standards, meeting the published service level agreement Audit all data entry for new client and new matter requests ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm's data entry standards, meeting the published service level agreement Maintain standards for data entry from all sources and ensure compliance with policies and procedure; communicate with clarity to all users regarding issues arising from data entry and educate them as necessary Update client and matter data ensuring accuracy and compliance with the firm's data entry standards, meeting the published service level agreement Assist in answering questions from attorneys and other legal staff, Accounting and other Information Governance staff Contribute as needed to the information bank for client specific requirements Assist in updating matters for departing attorneys as assigned. This includes updating attorney information and closing matters Monitor Business Intake Inbox and fulfill requests as assigned, including, but not limited to, updating Client and/or Matter Address and Contact information, and reporting status of intake requests. Assist with other administrative tasks; provide back up to others in the Information Governance department and perform other responsibilities as assigned Join us if you have: 5+ years' experience performing general office work, which may include data entry, filing, working with office personnel, or other related duties GED or High School Diploma - BA/BS or substantial industry work experience preferred Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization Strong interpersonal skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service, analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, and follow-up skills Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong time management skills Ability to handle all stressful situations in a calm, composed manner Ability to efficiently produce a high volume of detailed work, which may include long periods in front of a computer Ability to accurately type 50+ wpm Experience working with Microsoft Office; experience working with document management software preferred Who We Are Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is an AmLaw 100 law firm with 9 offices nationwide. It is not intended to include all duties and responsibilities. Washington State The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $63,000 to $71,000 ($32.31 to $36.41 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program.
