David Topolnicki - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a friendly, efficient, and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. This is a fast-paced, front-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact in a busy office environment. You'll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly by managing phones, walk-ins, emails, and administrative support. While this position does not require an insurance license and will not involve heavy transactional work, it does require strong communication skills and the ability to confidently route calls, gather information, and support the team as needed. There may be slower periods at times, so comfort with shifting between customer interaction and administrative tasks is important. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage incoming calls, walk-ins, emails, and office communications in a fast-paced environment. Collect basic information from customers and ensure messages or call-back requests are routed accurately. Schedule appointments and assist with general office coordination. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customer needs as directed. Support the team with administrative tasks such as copying, mailing, filing, and organizing documents. Assist the agent with occasional nonState Farm-related administrative tasks, including running errands or scheduling appointments. Qualifications: 5+ years of prior customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced office setting. Comfortable engaging in basic sales-related conversations and transferring leads appropriately. Ability to smoothly redirect calls when you don't have the answer and gather information accurately. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Flexible, dependable, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as needed. Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
