Brunswick's Integrated Manufacturing Center (BIMC), located in Merritt Island, Florida, supports the growth and development of Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and other Brunswick boat brands. This location, formally a Sea Ray Sport Yacht and Yacht facility, centralizes Brunswick's vertical integration capabilities to deliver efficient, cost effective capacity and productivity planning to the Brunswick boat brands. Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs advanced finish cabinetry techniques on large boats, working with the most sophisticated and complex styling. Hangs doors and installs drawers, finishes them, etc. The candidate must have prior knowledge and experience in the following areas, and must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodation: High School Education or GED equivalent Hand Tool Knowledge Work Experience in Field Written Skills Verbal Skills Communication Skills Knowledge of area and job tasks Ability to Train Ability to read and understand Production Schedule Ability to read and understand prints Ability to read and understand Job Descriptions Familiarity with Kits Ability to Multi-Task Working knowledge of Procedures, instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality system Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal Knowledge of BOM and make adjustments as needed (Internal process current employees should be familiar with only) Ability to identify Short Stocks and report them Ability to work in a dusty environment Ability to work in a hot environment Ability to lift heavy objects Knowledge of mechanical objects Overall Floor Knowledge Ability to work with suspended loads and heavy lifting Safety Requirements Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc. Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where required Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc. Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment. The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.70 to $24.30, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
