Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative focused on Intercompany Business plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various internal business units within the manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for managing and resolving inquiries related to intercompany orders, shipments, and billing, thereby facilitating efficient internal transactions. The role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes and intercompany policies to support accurate and timely order fulfillment. By acting as a liaison between departments, the representative helps maintain strong internal relationships and supports operational excellence. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall efficiency and profitability of the company by ensuring that intercompany business activities are executed smoothly and without disruption. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably within a manufacturing or intercompany business environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across departments. Basic understanding of order management and billing processes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Amtech Software systems in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of intercompany accounting principles and internal controls. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making. Responsibilities: Manage and process intercompany orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment according to company policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal business units regarding intercompany transactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Coordinate with logistics, finance, and production teams to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate billing processes. Maintain detailed records of intercompany communications, transactions, and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements within intercompany customer service workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. The required skills enable the representative to efficiently manage intercompany orders and communications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in daily operations. Strong communication skills are essential for ensuring smooth transactions between internal departments and resolving issues collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Amtech systems supports data management, reporting, and tracking of transactions. Analytical skills help in identifying trends and potential process improvements, contributing to operational efficiency. Preferred skills such as knowledge of intercompany accounting and continuous improvement methodologies further enhance the ability to optimize workflows and support strategic business objectives.
