Customer Service Representative (CSR)
As a CSR at State Farm, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. You will build strong relationships with clients, address inquiries, and assist with insurance policies. Your primary responsibilities will include: Customer Support: Providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, answering questions, and offering guidance on insurance products and coverage options. You will ensure customers' needs are met with professionalism and empathy. Policy Management: Assisting clients with policy changes, updates, and claims processing. You will handle policy endorsements, review coverage details, and accurately process policy transactions. Problem-Solving: Analyzing customer situations and finding effective solutions to meet their needs. Your ability to think critically, make informed decisions, and resolve issues will be crucial in providing outstanding service. Collaboration: Working closely with Andy Herrero's team and other professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will contribute to a positive team dynamic, share knowledge, and learn from experienced colleagues. Qualifications: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with customers and team members. Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to assist and support customers. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate policy management and documentation. Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software systems and the ability to learn new tools and technologies. Prior experience in customer service, insurance, or a related field is preferred. Our office is located in Downers Grove. Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member. I am a second generation State Farm agent. I am a proud graduate of Illinois State University. We currently have 7 team members at our agency. We have 110 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
