Yard Laborer / Helper
Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Elkton, MD branch location. We are looking for a Yard Laborer / Helper to assist the service and rental departments. Responsibilities: Perform yard utility functions and a wide variety of other duties assigned, in a safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations. Unload material as needed in a safe and timely manner Assist techs as needed and support them on certain jobs Experience in moving a variety of trailers in tight spaces. Ensure all containers and trailers are safely and securely parked at the end of each day. Help with seasonal branch maintenance including but not limited to; snow removal and cutting lawn. Empty all trash cans inside and outside the facility Wash all types of trailers as needed, using power washer and brushes. Work in all types of environments inside and outside. Requirements: Experience with operating a forklift is a plus but not required. A current driver's license moving violations for past 3 years is a plus. Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result-oriented, problem-solving attitude. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies. Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
