Position Overview
The Senior Director of Marketing Strategy is responsible for defining and driving FASTer Way's demand generation and campaign strategy to accelerate revenue growth.
This is a high-impact, executive-level individual contributor role focused on identifying what campaigns to run, where to allocate spend, how to structure funnels, and how to optimize performance across channels.
This leader serves as a strategic partner to the CEO/CMO, providing ideation, vision, and data-backed recommendations for new campaigns, growth initiatives, and revenue opportunities.
The role does not manage direct reports or own marketing operations execution. Instead, it partners closely with the Senior Director of Marketing Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure strategy is clear, performance-driven, and successfully executed.
This role requires a highly analytical, growth-oriented marketer who can translate business objectives into scalable demand generation strategies and drive measurable impact on new client acquisition, lead generation, and customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Demand Generation Strategy
Own the marketing contribution to revenue growth, including new client acquisition, lead generation, and customer lifetime value.
Develop and own the overarching demand generation strategy aligned with revenue and growth targets
Determine campaign priorities across acquisition, nurture, conversion, and retention
Define audience segmentation, targeting strategy, and funnel architecture
Identify the right mix of paid, owned, and earned channels to drive scalable growth
Build quarterly and annual strategic marketing roadmaps
Campaign Architecture & Planning
Lead ideation for new campaigns, offers, and revenue opportunities aligned with business goals.
Decide what campaigns to run, when to run them, and how they ladder into business objectives
Design integrated campaign strategies across paid media, email, content, partnerships, and lifecycle
Define offers, positioning, and messaging angles in partnership with brand/creative
Establish testing frameworks for new campaign concepts
Ensure campaigns are designed with measurable outcomes and clear KPIs
Analytics & Performance Optimization
Define success metrics and performance benchmarks
Analyze funnel performance, CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion metrics
Identify gaps in the funnel and recommend strategic pivots
Use data insights to reallocate budget and refine channel strategy
Provide clear performance reporting and strategic recommendations to the CEO
Growth & Revenue Impact
Develop strategies to increase customer lifetime value, retention, and long-term revenue growth.
Identify scalable growth levers and new demand channels
Evaluate expansion opportunities, partnerships, and new audience segments
Develop customer journey optimization strategies
Drive continuous improvement through structured experimentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Senior Director of Marketing Ops to ensure flawless execution of strategy
Collaborate with creative, media buyers, and lifecycle teams to align on campaign direction
Provide strategic direction and prioritization across initiatives
Ensure strategic alignment between marketing, sales, and leadership goals
What This Role Is NOT
No direct people management
No ownership of marketing operations systems or workflows
Not responsible for day-to-day campaign execution

Deep expertise in demand generation strategy
Strong analytical and financial acumen
Ability to translate data into clear strategic direction
Proven experience building revenue-driving marketing roadmaps
Advanced understanding of funnels, attribution, and performance marketing
Strategic thinker who can see both the big picture and the numbers
Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial growth environment
Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on growth strategy
Qualifications
8–12+ years of progressive marketing experience
Proven success in demand generation and growth strategy roles
Experience driving measurable revenue growth
Strong background in consumer or digital-first businesses
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
