Profitero+ is looking for a highly strategic
Sr. Associate, Marketing Insights and Analytics
to support long-term consulting projects across our client portfolio!
In this role, you will parse and analyze proprietary, third-party, and commerce/RMN-based marketing data and research results to develop insights and build recommendations for eCommerce strategy on behalf of some of the world's largest brands. You'll partner with cross-functional consulting teams and leverage your technical skills in Excel (and maybe even a bit of SQL) as well as your understanding of commerce and shopper marketing to build stories that help our clients understand how to drive eCommerce sales and win on the digital shelf.
This role requires someone with analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, and business management skills as well as a comfort level presenting, explaining, and defending their work both internally and directly to a client. You will support and own key project workstreams, synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative inputs, and translate findings into clear, actionable strategies.

All candidates should be commutable to the Boston metro and willing to commit to a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Partner directly with Profitero consulting leads to execute strategic consulting engagements with a specific focus on data-driven digital commerce analysis and recommendations. Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis using data from Profitero+, the client, and third-party syndicated data partners. Perform first-party research via interviews with clients, external eCommerce experts, and market participants to inform the development of client deliverables. Collaborate closely with internal and client teams to develop and deliver executive-ready presentations including data-driven insights, analysis, and recommendations. Contribute to virtual and in-person client presentations and workshops. Use data storytelling to communicate with a variety of different audiences and stakeholders based on their unique needs. Support internal knowledge development through industry research and best-practice sharing. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Science, Economics, or a related field; experience may be substituted. 3+ years of professional experience in marketing research, data, or analytics with a specific focus in CPG, retail, and/or commerce media industries. Prior experience working within a consultancy or as a consulting partner to consumer brands in support of digital commerce strategy, research, and analysis projects. Prior experience consulting in the CPG/retail sector with an understanding of industry-vertical business processes (e.g., sales, distribution, supply chain, trade marketing) and a passion for leveraging data to drive innovation in the industry. Experience working with data and reporting contained within various industry software solutions, third-party platforms, and retail media networks. An understanding of digital shelf KPIs and best practices. Strong analytical skills with ability to parse, interpret, and synthesize data into clear business implications. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to interpret, storyboard, and present data effectively; experience in specialized data and reporting tools including PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and/or Sigma preferred. Experience working within a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary digital commerce team. Comfort operating with a high level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability. A natural sense of urgency with an ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within tight deadlines and constantly-evolving project parameters, scope, and goals. Flexible and adaptable with an ability to manage and drive success across multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities. Highly collaborative but independently capable. Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort participating and presenting in client presentations and workshops. Exceptionally organized with a fanatical attention to detail. Compensation Range: $66,120-$97,440 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
