Overview: Job Title: Content Strategist Location: Minnesota (MN), Irving, TX, or Charlotte, NC Experience Required: 8+ Years Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist to lead the planning, development, and optimization of content across web, social, and digital marketing channels. This role requires strong strategic thinking, editorial expertise, and data-driven decision-making to ensure content aligns with brand standards, engages target audiences, and supports overall marketing and business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leverage emerging trends, including Generative AI , to enhance content effectiveness and scalability. Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies across web, social, and digital campaigns. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, messaging, and marketing objectives . Define content frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and storytelling approaches. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product marketing, UX, design, development, and content authoring teams to deliver cohesive and consistent digital experiences. Provide strategic guidance on content structure, flow, and user engagement. Optimization & Performance Management Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as engagement, conversion, and SEO impact. Use insights from Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics , and related tools to continuously refine content strategies. Innovation & Emerging Trends Explore and apply emerging content trends , including AI-driven and Generative AI tools , to improve personalization, efficiency, and scale. Recommend innovative approaches to content creation, distribution, and optimization. Governance & Best Practices Maintain editorial calendars , content standards, and governance frameworks. Enforce best practices for quality, accessibility, SEO, and brand compliance. Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to content maturity across teams. Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience in content strategy, digital content, or content marketing roles. Proven experience developing content strategies aligned with business and marketing goals . Strong SEO knowledge , including keyword research, on-page optimization, and search trends. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress , or similar platforms. Expertise in analytics and performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats (web, social, email). Experience with audience research, persona development , and content personalization. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, editorial calendars, and multiple priorities. Key Competencies Strategic thinking with a strong data-driven mindset.
