Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate – 2nd/Mid Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) (12:00-8:30pm)

Location: Seymour, CT

Pay: $22–$24 per hour


Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of materials in and out of a high-tech electronics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will handle shipments, verify incoming materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely processing of orders while working collaboratively with the warehouse and production teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and on time
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems
  • Organize and stage materials for production and shipping
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
  • Visual acuity for inspecting shipments and labeling

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
  • Exposure to moving machinery and occasional heavy lifting
  • Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear required PPE

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
