What You Will Be Doing
The Americas HR Lead is a key strategic and operational HR role supporting Amer Sports Global Operations, specifically Distribution Centers across the Americas region. This position provides functional leadership to HR Business Partners and drives HR strategy execution across all operational sites. In addition, the role leads regional Talent Acquisition and Talent Development activities, ensuring robust hiring pipelines, strong leadership capability, and a high‑performance, people‑centric culture.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Strategic HR Direction, Leadership & Business Partnership (50%)
Define and drive People & Culture action plans in consistency with the ASGO P&C strategy, with focus on organizational design, OPEX optimization and capability building.
Act as a strategic partner to regional business leader, providing functional leadership, expert consultation, coaching and facilitation.
Drive the implementation of global HR programs, policies, and processes in the Americas region.
Lead local change management efforts for transformation, growth, and continuous improvement initiatives across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, retention and exit).
Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, regulations, and company standards across all distribution center locations.
Monitor organizational health, provide insights, and recommend solutions to strengthen engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness.
Act as a “Compensation Partner” for Americas scope by checking and consolidating data for merit and bonus reviews and other projects in collaboration with Global People & Culture Operations ASGO.
Maintain strong collaborative relationships with the ASGO P&C team and People Managers on effective internal and external communication.
Build and maintain professional relationships with candidates, consultants, and external partners.
Talent Development & Capability Building (25%)
Drive Talent Development strategy for the Americas distribution centers, including leadership development, capability programs, and succession planning and support the rollout of global learning programs and ensure local adoption.
Steer the performance management cycle and support meaningful talent reviews across sites.
Act as Role‑model ASGO values and drive initiatives that reinforce a strong, values‑based culture.
Talent Acquisition (25%)
Ensure a clear Employee Value Proposition to support candidate attraction.
Drive best‑practice and innovative recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
Partner with hiring managers on job analysis, candidate selection and contract offers.
Guide HR BPs, leaders and employees on career paths, assignments, coaching and mentoring to support talent growth and development.
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor/ Masters degree in HR/Business Administration or equivalent
10+ years of HR experience
Background in organizational design, talent & performance management, leadership development, change management, recruiting and employee relation.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $150,000 - $180,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job‑related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. The range reflects the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus.
