
Valuation Ops Analyst

Job Overview
Under direct supervision, assist in the collection and analysis of data for senior staff to formulate opinions of the market value of real estate for purposes of dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, portfolio analysis, and estate purposes.
Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and report appraisal‑related market data through internal and external sources.
Understand all company research‑related database programs.
Inspect properties as part of the valuation process with the Senior Appraiser.
Assist in preparation of sections of appraisal reports under the supervision of a State Certified Appraiser.
Understand necessary software programs used to prepare valuation reports.
Continue training on current regulations, zoning laws, and appraisal standards.
Utilize necessary third‑party data sources.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in real estate, economics, or related subjects (preferably MS or MBA in Real Estate).
Appraiser trainee license issued by the state board (or will obtain).
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Argus is a plus.
Prior professional experience in real estate analysis, market research, or a related field.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
Salary The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 annually, determined on an individualized basis. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses, equity, and other short‑ and long‑term incentives.
Working Conditions Normal working conditions with absence of disagreeable elements.
