Independent Optometrist – Walmart
Position Summary: Launch your optical services in Walmart stores as an independent optometrist leasing space inside Walmart locations. You will lead patient care for eye and vision health as well as general well‑being.
What You’ll Do
Establish your own days of practice, hours of operation, and patient schedule.
Set your fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees.
Control your practice schedule and maintain patient appointments.
Optionally select equipment/instrumentation and administrative / opt‑tech support services (if state allows).
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school with a valid state optometry license.
Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school with a valid state ophthalmology license, General Liability Certificate, and Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
