Leads the overall administration and management of Swedish Issaquah Hospital Interventional Services. Responsible for creating a culture of patient safety and establishing an environment that supports clear, effective communication between disciplines. Strives for benchmark performance in operational efficiency, financial planning/performance, business development, general and medical community interface, and strategic planning. Assures long-term campus success through overall excellence of outcomes in clinical quality, customer service, staff, and physician satisfaction, financial viability, and regulatory compliance within areas of responsibility. Responsibilities
Marketing and Business Development: Understands sources of patients and referrals. Leads in the design and implementation of strategies to maintain and grow market share.
Financial Planning: Develops budgets and provides leadership to achieve annual financial and productivity targets.
Cost Effective Operations: Develops and manages resources to achieve operating efficiencies. Develops, and manages to, operational benchmarks of efficiency and outcomes.
Customer Service: Measures, designs and leads efforts to assure optimal customer satisfaction with services.
Medical Staff Involvement and Communication: Develops and maintains a positive environment and ongoing communication with all key medical staff.
Market Place and Industry Knowledge: Pursues information that keeps operations current with practice, management, and reimbursement trends in the regional and national market implementing appropriate response to opportunities and threats.
Partner and Affiliate Relationships: Effectively collaborates with other Swedish-affiliated organizations to realize strategic patient care and business goals.
Intra-organizational Relationships: Assures effective communication and coordination, as well as maintains positive relationships on site and organization-wide.
Resource Planning: Identifies and coordinates facility, equipment, and systems needs to maintain state-of-the-art technology and facilities for care and services.
Change Management: Develops and leads a management team that plans and implements change in a positive manner, involving staff participation and input as appropriate.
Strategic Planning: Defines strategic direction for campus in context of Swedish strategic plan and works collaboratively with Swedish Leadership to assure congruent, seamless service offerings.
Staff Development: Leads by example to assure an environment conducive to high employee satisfaction; develops a culture where staff members behave as owner/leader.
Quality Improvement and Safety: Leads the achievement of strategic quality/safety goals and regulatory standards with monitoring and improvement activities in all departments.
Builds a strong leadership culture by making effective hiring decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree - BSN
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
5 years of proven leadership in developing, managing, and operating high performing surgical services.
Experience in leading and managing in an operational setting where infrastructure support is limited and geographic separation from traditional support services exists.
Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s Degree in Nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or comparable field preferred.

Additional Information The posted wage range for this position is $85.78 - $135.42. The placement within the range is based on relevant experience and other factors.
