Sales Account Territory Specialist - Royal Canin PRO

Field-Based Territory Role – Covering North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. Preferred Location: Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC.

Requires a minimum of 4 days in field and on the road, and approximately 50 overnight stays annually.

The Sales Account Specialist for the Royal Canin PRO division is responsible for driving sales and quality recommendations with PRO partners (breeders, shelters, and working dog) within a specific geographical region. They manage day-to-day relationships with key partners and existing partners, recruit new partners/new customers into Royal Canin and Eukanuba programs, and collaborate across Business units to drive strategic partnership and growth.

What are we looking for?

Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree

2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B

Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)

Knowledge of or interest in the pet professional/nutrition industry

Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce, etc.

Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record

Overnight travel required up to 50%, occasional weekends for conferences and events.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.

Conduct 85% in-person sales calls.

Use Salesforce to manage partners and customer data.

Forecast and build territory sales plan; deliver on annual sales targets.

Analyze territory sales data and develop a unique strategy for growth.

Attend relevant events annually within your territory.

Educate partners (breeders, shelters, and working dogs) on Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutritional diets and programs.

Recommend Royal Canin and Eukanuba Healthy Pet and Reproductive/SOL nutritional solutions.

Present customer programming and build estimated feeding guidelines / budget.

Drive partner recommendations.

Recruit and source new partner acquisition across working professionals.

Collaborate with PSRO (retail) and Vet Colleagues to drive PRO business and Recommendations.

Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory using strong selling skills and customer focus.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new potential customers, aligning them to recommend Mars products as their primary diet.

Collaborate with the team and other associates to provide insights to the regional team.

Attend and participate in events, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required.

Complete weekly activity, expenses, and ad-hoc reporting as needed by your manager.
