Travelport is a leading travel technology company that simplifies the booking experience for travelers worldwide. We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to drive revenue growth and maintain customer satisfaction within the Small to Medium sized customer tier (SMB).
How you’ll make an impact With a focus on SMB, you will manage existing customers and win new business via telephone and video link. You are expected to grow relationships and contribute to your career development while helping the company grow.
Your role in action
Account Management – Retain and grow the profitable customer base and maintain loyalty through proactive account management. Sell new products and solutions to this customer base (85% of daily activities).
New Business – Obtain new business to grow revenue. Identify, qualify, drive, and close opportunities over the telephone (15% of daily activities).
Relationships – Build high‑value relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Identify and define customer needs, articulate Travelport’s value proposition, differentiate from the competition, and position Travelport as a strategic technology partner.
Could this be you?
Previous experience within the travel industry and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) – Mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills, self‑motivation, confidence, assertiveness, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Excellent account/relationship management skills with a track record of cultivating lasting customer relationships.
Thrives when figuring things out and enjoys challenges.
Able to manage time effectively, work with minimal supervision, and is a collaborative team player.
