Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our technology organization in Atlanta. The Sr. Business Analyst will collaborate with ICE Data Product, Engineering, Quantitative, Operations and QA teams to perform analysis for development of products to achieve key growth objectives. The Sr. Business Analyst analyzes users' business needs to develop effective and creative solutions within time constraints using but not limited to SQL, Visio and Programming technologies.

The Sr. Business Analyst will collaborate with ICE Data Product, Engineering, Quantitative, Operations and QA teams to perform analysis for development of products to achieve key growth objectives. The Sr. Business Analyst analyzes users' business needs to develop effective and creative solutions within time constraints using but not limited to SQL, Visio and Programming technologies.
In addition to traditional analysis responsibilities, the Sr. Business Analyst will leverage AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance data insights, automate workflows, and support advanced analytics initiatives. The position spans all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, technical design, testing, and release documentation.
Responsibilities
Work as a liaison between Business and Technology teams as part of the SDLC process
Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for business processes, content, and functionality, incorporating AI capabilities where applicable
Recommend improvements and efficiencies to new and existing products, features and business workflows including AI-driven insights and automation where applicable
Collaborate on development of reference and pricing data for asset classes (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, Funds)
Assist the development team with client questions or issues across several products
Formulate testing strategies for both traditional and AI-based components, ensuring model accuracy and compliance
Reviews requirements written by other business analysts in the team
Knowledge And Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline preferred
3+ years as a Business Analyst in software/application development; experience with AI/ML projects preferred
Experience in querying data using SQL, defining operational processes and partnering across product, operations and development groups
Experience with documenting business and system requirements, comprehensive use-cases and working within iterative software development environments
Proficiency in MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
