Director of IT Operations and Support - Full Time
Vivo Infusion is seeking a Director of IT Operations and Support who will manage the service desk, de novo projects, network and infrastructure functions. The role requires 10–15% travel; the rest of the time is on‑site from one of our corporate offices (Lakewood, CO or Grand Rapids, MI). Remote candidates are not considered. Compensation

IT Director Location
Lakewood, CO or Grand Rapids, MI – on‑site. 10–15% travel to clinic locations. Primary Responsibilities
Provide direction in IT operations, including implementation and maintenance of enterprise‑wide computers, system software, hosted services, Microsoft ecosystem, and wired/wireless networks. Identify and mitigate risks to IT operations; ensure business continuity and disaster recovery. Oversee network and system infrastructure; configure, implement, maintain, and monitor security firewalls, servers, encryption, and internet connections. Maintain consistency and maintainability of infrastructure through documented standards and procedures. Develop road map for annual IT operations and contribute to IT financial planning; assist in operating and capital budget preparation. Execute de novo projects on time. Enforce security across all computer and network systems; work closely with IT Security and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements. Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for operational efficiency. Mentor IT staff, foster continuous learning and professional growth. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar IT leadership role. Understanding of NIST and HIPAA Security Rule. Industry certifications are a plus. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 admin center, SharePoint, Copilot, Microsoft licensing, Intune, email migrations, and hybrid environments. Knowledge of telecommunication technologies and protocols (VoIP, SIP, networking protocols, cloud platforms, communication software). Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet cabling). Proficiency with servers, virtualization, routers, switches, and firewalls. Knowledge of computer systems and operating systems. IT security protocol knowledge. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively. Strong understanding of IT processes and procedures. Experience supporting multi‑site geographically diverse locations. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Fluent in written and spoken English; professional communication skills. Work Environment & Physical Demands
The role typically requires moderate noise levels and up to 15% travel to clinic sites. Candidates must be able to operate a vehicle to work sites. The job requires sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional installation of cables or equipment in tight spaces may be required.
