This role is located in New York, NY, and sits within the Wealth Advice and Planning team. Responsibilities
Lead a national team of wealth strategists across the country, advising Ultra High Net Worth clients on estate & gift tax planning, family governance, philanthropy, family wealth, and business succession strategies. Serve as the Senior Wealth Strategist in the New York City Tri-state market. Set and manage priorities and performance metrics for the team. Oversee and contribute to thought leadership on wealth planning, including industry conferences and COI outreach. Manage relationships with Regional Presidents, Market Leaders and other stakeholders to maximize effective use of the team and resources. As a member of the Leadership team, own setting business strategy for the wealth strategists and contribute to the strategic direction of the advice, planning and fiduciary offering of BNY Wealth. Recruit, develop, direct and motivate an exceptional team to maximize individual and team contributions, professional growth and engagement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and J.D., law, accounting, tax degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10-15 years of total professional experience in Ultra High Net Worth wealth planning with at least 3-5 years in team management, preferably in wealth management firms. Experience in tax analysis and advisory required. Proven ability to lead multiple teams and manage complex client relationships. Strong expertise in tax and estate planning, risk management and strategic advisory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. About Us

The base salary is expected to be between $225,000 and $300,000 per year at the start of employment, determined on an individualized basis based on experience and location, and is part of the total compensation package which may include bonuses and incentives.
