Senior Estimator

Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in Raleigh, NC that is looking for a Senior Estimator. Assume key role throughout estimating, bidding, vendor and subcontractor proposal review and purchasing processes Work alongside Director of Preconstruction and Company leadership team to determine bid or no bid Assist Director of Preconstruction in assigning lead estimator for each project based on skillset and schedule alignment Delegate tasks and responsibilities to direct reports; supervise/mentor the work of other estimators Perform detailed quantity take-offs of HVAC equipment and systems, including hydronic and air sides. Ability to develop budgets from narratives during schematic design and through design development and to construction documents Develop bid packages/contract scopes of work for subcontractors, evaluate subcontractor bids and issue contracts Be involved throughout the estimating, bidding, vendor and subcontractor proposal review and purchasing processes. Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in the HVAC industry. Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans and specifications. Ability to understanding HVAC systems and controls and basic HAVC principles,
