
Sr. Director, Global Risk Management

About the Role
Step into a high-impact executive leadership role responsible for shaping, elevating, and integrating the organization’s global risk management strategy across a diverse, matrixed enterprise. As a Senior Director of Enterprise & Global Risk Management, you will serve as a principal architect in the implementation and execution of the company’s enterprise risk policies, frameworks, and culture.
You will collaborate directly with the C-Suite, Segment Presidents, Strategic Account Leaders, Market Leaders, and global functional heads, guiding the organization toward a mature, proactive, and deeply embedded risk culture.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Enterprise Risk Leadership
Lead the global enterprise risk vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and recognized standards (ISO 31000, COSO).
Champion a unified, enterprise-wide risk culture by educating leaders and driving consistent operational risk practices.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and present to the Executive Risk Council and senior leadership forums.
Governance, Frameworks & Policy Management
Implement and evolve the ERM framework, policies, standards, processes, and controls across segments, markets and lines of business. Ensures that the plans are comprehensive, cohesive, and effective globally.
Risk Identification, Assessment & Analytics
Facilitate annual risk assessments with functional and regional leaders.
Own and modernize the Enterprise Risk Register, building dashboards and analytics for executive use.
Partner with data teams, business leaders, and functional leaders to build predictive KRIs and early-warning indicators aligning with risk appetite.
Aggregate risks to the Enterprise level for executive and Board reporting.
Advisory & Partnership With the C‑Suite
Advise on major initiatives including M&A, market expansion, transformations, and strategic planning.
Provide risk guidance for major internal programs to ensure proactive mitigation.
Enterprise-Wide Influence & Relationship Building
Build trust-centered relationships with senior leaders, auditors, and business partners.
Oversees and manages coordination across lines of business globally and manages the relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
Prepares and delivers presentations to all levels of management including the Executive Risk Committee and Leadership Conferences, including Segment/Market Leaders and Strategic Account Leaders.
Serve as the senior risk ambassador across the enterprise, influencing without direct authority.
Operations, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure systems, processes, and controls meet regulatory and internal requirements.
Drive continuous improvement toward higher levels of risk maturity and operational consistency.
Identify and escalate gaps in policy adoption and control design.
