The Center for Recovery and Wellness takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to recovery and wellness that responds to the distinct needs of each individual. Programs include residential and outpatient addiction treatment, recovery services, prevention education, and community programming. CRW offers culturally competent, evidence-based programs and services that strengthen individuals and communities, enhance resiliency, and foster lasting recovery.
We are seeking a full-time Managing Director of Residential Services who will oversee and coordinate all elements of Residential Treatment Services, including the direct supervision of the Clinical Director and MEC Director. This role will ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care in a 100-bed mixed gender residential facility serving mandated and non-mandated adults with substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Program Development
Provide strategic leadership and supervision to senior staff and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Oversee development and implementation of treatment plans, initial assessments, and crisis response protocols
Lead quality improvement initiatives and team-based projects to enhance health and safety
Ensure integration of vocational services and comprehensive client support
Manage program budget and financial operations
Compliance and Monitoring
Ensure adherence to contractual, regulatory, and agency standards
Monitor therapeutic environment and maintain trauma-informed care systems
Oversee quality assurance and improvement reviews, reporting, and data collection
Maintain program manuals and site directives
Other Duties
Represent the program in professional and community meetings
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
LCSW, LMHC or LMSW with Master CASAC credential required
Minimum five years of experience in supervision, program development, regulatory oversight, and site management in residential or outpatient addiction/mental health services required
SIFI certification preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage complex clinical and administrative operations
Familiarity with regulations from OASAS and Medicaid
Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional and courteous manner
Must be organized, self-motivated, a team player, and computer literate
