
Cyber Security Mid Market Sales Account Executive

Role Overview
As a Security Sales Senior Manager, you will spearhead Accenture Security’s growth strategy for Mid‑Market clients, with the United States as the primary focus and act as the engine driving regional expansion. In this client‑facing role you will originate, shape, and close cybersecurity deals that leverage the Accenture Cybersecurity Mid‑Market offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full sales cycle for high‑value, complex security solutions for Mid‑Market clients, from needs analysis through deal closure.
Own and exceed sales targets for Accenture Security offerings across Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, and Risk & Compliance.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of high‑value opportunities.
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles and contract negotiations.
Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and senior stakeholders to influence buying decisions.
Help develop strategic accounts and partner‑led opportunities.
Position security offerings against regulatory, resilience, and risk drivers.
Collaborate globally with Market Unit and Global teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans tailored for the Market Unit.
Share insights on emerging threats, regulatory trends, and AI‑driven security solutions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity sales and origination, with at least 1‑2 years in the small‑medium enterprise sector.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity solutions, functional and technical, with strong understanding of core services such as SOC, MDR, Identity Protection, Network Security, Zero Trust, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and AI‑driven solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; if holding an Associate’s Degree, minimum 6 years of work experience.
Exceptional communication, deal‑shaping, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with Mid‑Size companies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with USA and global teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.
Travel Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Compensation Compensation varies by location and experience; ranges are available upon request.
