Director, Product Management, Ads Performance
Overview
Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem—delighting consumers, enabling publishers to build and monetize large audiences, and providing advertisers unique capabilities to engage consumers. Roku is a fast-growing public company where every team member can contribute from day one.
About the role This role is one of the most impactful product leadership opportunities at Roku. As Director of Product for Ads Performance and Measurement, you will define how advertising on the biggest screen in the home proves its value to brands, to agencies, and to the broader ecosystem. You will lead a critical product pillar responsible for the optimization of systems, attribution models, and monetization levers that power billions of dollars in media value across The Roku Channel and Roku’s programmatic footprint.
We are looking for a product leader with a track record of scaling performance products from early innovation to commercial impact. Someone who has built optimization engines and attribution frameworks that not only deliver measurable outcomes but also redefine the market’s understanding of what success looks like. This person must operate at scale and with urgency, bringing both product and engineering depth and a sharp sense of what it takes to make efficacy a differentiator.
You will lead a team of talented product managers and people leaders, and collaborate closely with engineering, data science, RevOps, and sales to drive Roku’s next wave of monetization. The right leader for this role has shaped category expectations in the past and is ready to do it again. This is a market where measurement is still being defined, and the leadership opportunity is wide open.
Compensation & Location For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $274,000 - $411,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What you'll be doing
Performance portfolio strategy: Define and lead Roku's performance strategy across native and programmatic demand. Scale optimization engines that drive selection, outcomes, and incremental revenue.
Category-shaping innovation: Establish the next standard for CTV efficacy (methodology, product, proof). Build always-on incrementality and brand-lift, unify 1P native + 3P video into a single optimization surface (reach/frequency + outcomes), and create performance guardrails that earn enterprise budgets.
Signals & measurement: Modernize attribution and signals to unlock value. Make attribution actionable inside optimization loops.
Org leadership: Lead through clarity, action, and scale. Influence engineering in partnership with product counterparts to accelerate velocity and quality.
Executive communication & GTM: Act as the single-threaded owner for Ads Performance. Provide clear narratives, crisp trade-offs, and customer-proofed outcomes. Enable Sales with performance stories that land with brands, agencies, and performance marketers.
Qualifications
Proven track record in building and scaling advertising products that deliver material performance budgets at scale.
Experience driving adoption and outcomes in core brand and agency markets, not just early adopters or innovators.
Deep understanding of auction dynamics, marketplace design, and optimization systems that improve buyer performance and platform revenue.
Fluency in attribution and measurement models, including incrementality, brand lift, ROAS, and conversion APIs.
Leadership experience managing high-performing product teams and collaborating across engineering, analytics, sales and client services.
History of changing industry norms or reframing how value is defined and measured in a complex ecosystem.
Comfort with strategic ambiguity, prioritization, and resourcing decisions balancing long-term bets with immediate impact.
Benefits Roku offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees and their families. Global resources include mental health and financial wellness support. Local benefits may include healthcare (medical, dental, vision), life, disability, retirement options, and paid time off.
