Summary
The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospital remains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.
Job Description: Assistant Director, Environmental Services
Full-Time, Mid Shift
Job Requirements:
The Assistant Director, Environmental Services (EVS) & Linen is responsible for assisting the Director ofEVS & Linen in directing and overseeing all aspects of the operational need of the EVS & LinenDepartment.
You will lead, coordinate, mentor, develop and assign tasks to your EVS & Linen teams andassures that staff is trained in accordance with The Joint Commission guidelines, federal, state, and localregulations.
In the absence of the EVS & Linen Director acts as the administrative liaison between keycontacts and the department and deliver the highest possible level of service.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or
5+ years of support services, military, housekeeping, environmental services, and/or facilities maintenanceexperience
2+ years of supervisory experience in support service-related fields with high customer services and/or 2+ years of Environmental Services.
