Capital Territory Manager – Monarch (sales and strategy for Auris Surgical Robotics). This role is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end capital sales process within the assigned territory, from identifying and targeting new accounts to partnering with J&J teams for growth. The manager will deliver surgical technologies and solutions to surgeons and healthcare professionals worldwide.

Core Job Responsibilities

Co‑develop a strategic business plan that identifies relevant customer needs, prioritizes initiatives and company investments, and establishes a clear action plan for success.

Present realistic sales forecasts to sales management on a consistent basis.

Build a strong Monarch brand and relationships at the Service Line Administrator and C‑Suite level within the identified flagship hospital and health system to understand customer needs and the capital buying cycle.

Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations to ensure eventual sales and adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.

Present and negotiate capital pricing and program performance terms with customers in collaboration with the sales management team to achieve mutually desirable outcomes.

Implement post‑sales installation, implementation and adoption protocols in collaboration with the local sales and service team to deliver the desired business objective of the deal.

Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.

Work with the customer to achieve clinical and economic goals, driving overall satisfaction and utilization rates.

Maintain expert‑level knowledge of all Auris Surgical Robotics products and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.

Partner across internal J&J businesses to build and strengthen relationships.

Own in‑field market development for current and future product developments; serve as market intel lead for bronch/lung‑cancer product, service and market shifts and demonstrate J&J’s commitment to detection and treatment of lung cancer.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience

Minimum of a Bachelors degree and 4 years of relevant healthcare experience; preferred 3 years in disruptive capital sales.

Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge of disease states to physicians and economic buyers.

Ability to travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory.

Experience working in hospitals, ASCs, and attending live patient cases as required.

Self‑starter who performs well with autonomy and is a problem‑solver who can think critically in high‑pressure environments.

Strong teamwork and willingness to share sales strategies and key learnings with peers and management.

Receptive to constructive feedback and collaborative in team environments.

Proven ability to articulate customer needs and feedback to the organization.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Excellent communication skills at a high level and high frequency daily with sales management and the broader organization.

Experience working in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
