In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for members, guiding them through mortgage solutions tailored to their unique financial situations. You’ll play a critical role in helping individuals and families navigate obstacles, understand their options, and confidently move forward with one of life’s biggest decisions—buying a home. This role has the option to sit in Wausau, Antigo, Neenah, or De Pere.

Job Duties:
Makes every effort to work with members who are having financial difficulties at all times striving to arrive as a satisfactory payment arrangement, which will be equitable for both the credit union and the member
Organizes time and resources to ensure that the majority of the time is spent contacting embers with delinquent mortgage loans
Maintains thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedure, and regulatory requirements to ensure complete conformity with credit union and legal regulations
Actively assists Mortgage Loan Originators and Home Equity Specialist teams during high production levels
Conducts interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determines members financing objectives, advises members on products and pricing and gathers all required information
Maintains the confidentiality of members, employees, and credit union information
Qualifications:
Registered under the National Mortgage Licensing System, NMLS, or be in good standing to be approved by NMLS in accordance with the SAFE Act for registration
Minimum of 3 years of mortgage lending and or collections experience
The ability to analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching members needs with appropriate loan program and level of risk
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to work accurately under pressure
Must be bondable
