Senior Consulting Manager

Cognizant, Houston, TX, United States

Senior Consulting Manager – Product & Platform Transition (Enterprise Systems) Location: Houston, Texas, USA

Work Model: Hybrid (based on client and business requirements)

About the Role As a Senior Consulting Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the enterprise rollout, transition, and decommissioning of a large‑scale ticketing platform for a strategic client. This role sits at the intersection of product leadership, program delivery, and client advisory, with accountability for ensuring a low‑risk, well‑governed transition that preserves business continuity, service quality, and data integrity.

You will own the end‑to‑end platform transition lifecycle —from discovery and stakeholder alignment through migration, platform shutdown, and post‑sunset validation— while leading teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring delivery excellence in a complex, multi‑stream environment.

What You’ll Do

Own and lead the end‑to‑end strategy and execution for onboarding new client groups to an enterprise ticketing platform, including discovery, roadmap definition, migration planning, training, and enablement.

Serve as a client‑facing delivery leader, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, and execution.

Lead cross‑functional teams across architecture, change management, knowledge management, and operations to manage dependencies, mitigate risk, and ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Define and execute user, workflow, and data migration strategies to successor platforms, ensuring compliance, service quality, and data integrity.

Establish and govern program KPIs, success metrics, and reporting, providing transparency and escalation management across the account.

Drive post‑sunset validation and stabilization, ensuring platforms are retired successfully and lessons learned are captured for continuous improvement.

Lead and mentor a subset of the program team, including people leadership, workstream oversight, and performance management.

Ensure delivery adheres to consulting best practices, client governance models, and Cognizant delivery standards.

What You Must Have to Be Considered

7–10 years of experience in product management, program management, or platform transformation within large‑scale enterprise environments.

5+ years of experience leading teams and programs, including people leadership, workstream ownership, and client‑facing accountability.

Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow and/or Comcast platforms in complex operational or transformation settings.

Proven ability to drive program success, manage risk, and deliver outcomes in matrixed, multi‑vendor environments.

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with experience engaging senior client and internal leadership.

Leadership capability and confidence to operate as a key Consulting Manager on the account, with decision‑making authority and delivery responsibility.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
