The Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Director of Engineering for a software development client in the Woburn, MA area.
Full‑time, Permanent; Hybrid on‑site.
Salary in the ~160‑190k range (+ bonus + equity).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a small engineering team
Write production code and own technical architecture
Partner with cross‑functional teams and leadership
Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Manage offshore resources and support hiring efforts
Qualifications
8–10+ years of engineering experience, including leadership
Strong hands‑on coding background
Experience with data‑intensive or SaaS platforms
Familiarity with AI/ML applications
Startup or high‑growth environment experience preferred
Frontend: React, TypeScript
Cloud: AWS, GCP
AI/ML tools and modern development frameworks
