Position Summary
As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will lead patient care focusing on eye and vision as well as general health and well‑being. You will have the autonomy to set your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule while keeping 100% of exam and professional fees. For fair market value, you may opt into equipment or instrumentation and administrative/Opt-Tech support services if state allows.
Responsibilities
Launch your services in Walmart stores.
Provide patient eye and vision care with a focus on general health and well‑being.
Establish days of practice.
Establish hours of operation.
Control patient schedule.
Set fee schedule.
Keep 100% of exam/professional fees.
Optionally obtain equipment/instrumentation as needed.
Optionally obtain administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows).
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
Valid state optometry license.
Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school.
Valid state ophthalmology license.
General Liability Certificate.
Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
