Job Overview
Arrow’s Key Account Executive is the single point of contact for large, complex customers. This position creates opportunities by establishing strategic relationships with high‑level decision makers, achieving sales quotas set by Arrow, and developing processes that ensure mutual performance objectives are met. The role executes solution‑based selling through advanced knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes, increasing sales and maximizing margins by selling value‑added, long‑term solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Plan, manage, and oversee RFQ activities and contracts for assigned customers.
Ensure all RFQ activities align with Arrow guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Participate in the review and negotiation of significant contracts.
Review customer requests to ensure amendments to contract terms are implemented.
Coordinate with Arrow departments and customer departments to support seamless contract renewal/negotiation.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Arrow’s and competitors’ market share in each territory.
Consistently maintain and grow share within each assigned account.
Develop innovative action plans and maintain expert knowledge of customer business at all levels.
Build influential, strategic relationships with senior leadership of customers.
Leverage distribution, representative, and supplier knowledge to grow sales and profits within the territory.
Build strong relationships with suppliers’ reps and managers to receive product development and solution information.
Develop relationships with key personnel in marketing, product development, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
Lead functional teams and projects, serving as a best‑practice/quality resource.
What We Are Looking For
Thorough understanding of customer needs and decision‑making hierarchy to proactively assess and clarify customer needs.
8–10 years of key account or general/field sales management experience in the electronic distribution industry.
Ability to build influential relationships with customers.
Experience with Aerospace and Defense customers strongly preferred.
Experience working with distribution and complex major accounts.
Hunter mentality.
Proficiency with data, SFDC, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent presentation skills.
P&L experience preferred.
Previously managed a territory or accounts up to $125 million.
Compensation includes commission incentive.
Work Arrangement If located in Downers Grove, Denver, or Peabody, you will follow a hybrid schedule of three days per week in office and two days remote. If located in New York or Texas, you will be fully remote but may need to travel to an Arrow office as requested. Travel may be up to 30%.

This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Eligible candidates must be a U.S. person or hold an export license.
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate : $138,900.00 – $205,209.09 (actual offer may vary by location, experience, and education).
Location : US-IL-Downers Grove, Illinois (Butterfield Rd); remote work may require onsite presence at the nearest Arrow office.
