Key Responsibilities
Manage and prosecute domestic and international trademark applications.
Conduct trademark clearance searches and respond to office actions.
Draft, review, and negotiate IP‑related agreements, including licensing and commercial agreements.
Advise clients on intellectual property strategy, portfolio development, and risk management.
Represent clients in trademark opposition, cancellation, and infringement proceedings.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
Support enforcement of IP rights and defend against infringement claims.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property or Trademark Attorney.
Strong experience in trademark prosecution, IP transactions, and litigation.
Admission to the California Bar required.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Prior law firm or in‑house experience preferred.
Education & Certifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
