Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Senior Structural Designer for our Muscatine, IA office.
What You Will Be Doing:
Determining client requirements and developing drawings and related documents.
Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and design schedules for projects.
Evaluating the need for design changes and communicating appropriate recommendations to the structural lead.
Leading the generation of a drawing set with minimal input from engineer.
Consulting with engineers concerning design constructability.
Compensated overtime to fit project need and team workload.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in the design of buildings and other structures utilizing at least 2 of the following programs: Open Buildings, Revit, AutoCAD, or Microstation.
Experience in concrete and structural steel design.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.
8+ years of relevant structural design experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with government design standards such as Unified Facilities Criteria.
Power generation experience.
Experience in Masonry, CFS, or Wood Design.
