Job Title: Director - Business Development
Location: Herndon VA (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and driven Director-Business Development to join our growing team. This role is responsible for growth through existing and new account expansion in the public sector. The individual will focus on building long‑term client relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and engagement through negotiation and contract closure.
Collaborate with proposal delivery and executive team to ensure successful capture and revenue growth.
Maintain log of client interactions, pipeline activity, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Manage and renew client contracts to ensure continued satisfaction and retention.
Identify and pursue opportunities for growth through upselling and cross‑selling Allwyn’s service offerings.
Identify teaming partners and manage relationships with key partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in sales, business development, or account management roles for a technology services company, preferably a small‑medium business.
Experience working with sales in the public sector market.
Proven ability to engage with executive‑level stakeholders and drive business growth.
Demonstrated sales acumen, strategic thinking, and relationship building capabilities.
A competitive and goal‑oriented mindset, with a strong drive to exceed performance targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
