SAP Training Developer (Sr.) – U.S. Citizenship Required Position ID: J0426-0251 • Employment Type: Full Time • Main location: Fairfax, VA (alternate locations: Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN). The role requires a hybrid working model with two days per week in the CGI Federal office.

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced SAP Training Developer to support the development and delivery of training for a large Federal government agency’s SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience planning, developing, and executing end‑user training for large‐scale SAP S/4HANA implementations in a fast‑paced, Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Apply training and instructional design methodologies aligned with mission training objectives.

Plan, develop, and deliver training materials on schedule.

Create training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented.

Deliver training using in‑person classroom sessions, virtual training, and self‑directed learning for a decentralized audience.

Travel within the U.S. as needed to deliver training.

Teach users financial processes and related technologies, including role‑based exercises within an SAP training environment.

Coordinate supporting stand‑alone documents needed for training.

Conduct needs assessments and instructional analyses to determine appropriate learning methods.

Prepare comprehensive training project plans, timelines, performance‑based assessments, and status reports.

Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program objectives and operational procedures.

Stay current on training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements.

Assist in authoring and organizing training system procedural manuals and documentation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check required before work begins.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.

BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in training development and delivery for Federal government clients.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with various training authoring tools (e.g., SAP Enable Now, UPK, WalkMe, Camtasia, Adobe Connect).

Desired qualifications (non‑essential):

Experience with Agile methodology.

Experience delivering training.
