The Director, Product Marketing will build and lead a scalable global Product Marketing and GTM function that defines product positioning, accelerates speed to market, and enables commercial success across Coates’ solution portfolio.
Responsibilities Go-To-Market Execution
Lead and develop the Global Product Marketing Function
Build and lead how we bring hardware, software and holistic solution-based products & services to market
Create and drive adoption of enablement and GTM tools
Lead a cross‑functional group to define & execute go‑to‑market plans across the company portfolio
Lead go‑to‑market strategies for new features and releases in collaboration with Product and Sales
Product Marketing Strategy & Sales Enablement
Own product naming and positioning initiatives
Translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer‑focused benefits
Develop reusable messaging frameworks, launch playbooks, and enablement assets
Develop differentiated messaging versus both direct and indirect competitors
Build B2B enablement materials that support high‑value, complex customer partnerships
Translate technical capabilities into business value
Help translate customer and marketing needs into clear business outcomes and act as the connective tissue between Product, Tech, Sales, Account and functional teams
Collaborate with product and account management to ensure timely enablement around product launches, market shifts, and GTM priorities
Define and evolve product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for Coates Products & Services
Capabilities

Qualifications
8–10+ years experience in Product Marketing, Product, GTM strategy/management or a related function, preferably with strong B2B experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
Experience launching & growing global software & hardware products
Strong technical knowledge and experience working with developers, engineers, etc.
Understanding of or experience in QSR or restaurant industry is a plus
Experience launching/marketing SaaS products and CMS solutions is a plus
Salary Full Salary Range: $145,200/year (minimum), $155,100/year (midpoint), $165,000/year (maximum).
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. Well‑qualified candidates generally receive offers around the midpoint, while those with more limited directly relevant experience are placed nearer the minimum and highly experienced candidates with strong role alignment may be placed closer to the maximum.
