Auto Physical Damage Claim Adjuster
Location: Buffalo, New York
Hybrid work schedule: 2 full days per week in the office; remaining days remote or office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cultivate relationships with claims and internal staff, policyholders, attorneys, agents, and service providers while achieving optimal outcomes.
Provide high-level customer service while managing a portfolio of Auto Physical damage claims.
Conduct and direct timely and quality claim investigations, evaluations, and equitable settlements of all assigned claims.
Ensure timely and accurate reserves consistent with established reserving philosophy and practices.
Qualifications and Skills
4-year degree or equivalent work-related experience.
Minimum of 1 year auto claims handling experience.
Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
ImageRight knowledge a plus.
Excellent customer service skills.
Professional designations or working towards industry-specific designations a plus.
Must obtain required State licensing within 6 months of hire.
Pay Information Estimated hourly salary ranges from $25.00 – $33.00, depending on leveling and geography, with an equity component and comprehensive benefits package.
