Regional Director, Advisory

Job Overview Lead and oversee core functions of the Advisory team, collaborating with individual offices to implement local business plans, supporting advisors in executing growth plans, managing Modera growth goals, drafting and communicating advisor policies, and ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
Responsibilities
Support offices and individual advisors in executing firm and advisor level goals.
Manage monthly advisor meetings and local team lead meetings.
Draft and standardize advisor‑specific policies and processes.
Provide training on financial advisor processes and policies.
Manage the fee concession request process.
Partner with HR to develop training, onboarding, and career tracks for new advisors.
Serve as liaison between staff and advisor teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise or mentor up to 8 advisors.
Collaborate with other Regional Directors to ensure consistency and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
CFP Certification.
10+ years of experience in wealth management‑related or financial services field.
5+ years of leadership in an RIA or other financial services firm, or practice‑management experience.
Experienced team player capable of working well across all levels of the firm.
Adaptable and flexible, able to work under pressure and during busy periods to meet tight deadlines.
Skills and Competencies
Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Working knowledge of planning strategies and solutions.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and competent decision maker.
Empowers team members and communicates directly, influence, and diplomacy.
Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
