Responsibilities
Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant responsible for hands‑on functional configuration and day‑to‑day production support for core HCM and Payroll operations in a Higher Education community college environment. A purely functional onsite role with emphasis on payroll continuity, operational stability, and PUM upgrade support.
The consultant will support and maintain PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting. Responsibilities include daily production support, hands‑on configuration, payroll processing support, year‑end payroll activities, audits, and commitment accounting validation.
Translate HR and payroll business needs into functional designs and specifications, lead functional testing for PUM releases, maintain functional documentation, and support integration with Finance. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
12+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience.
Strong Higher Education exposure (California community college experience preferred).
Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area.
