Job Overview
Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. The role involves design of launcher electrical systems using Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf components, custom hardware design, and chassis/enclosure requirements, as well as sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and next‑generation launcher and weapon systems.
Responsibilities
Apply electrical engineering and electronics skills, including knowledge of related disciplines, to support successful design activities.
Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, subsystems, and systems.
Develop technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists, and test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering or scientific field.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development.
Working experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
Electrical System Integration/Development
Complex Cable Design
Circuit Card Assembly Design
Electrical Bonding and Grounding of Enclosures
FPGA Selection/Programming
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
This position requires a government security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Work Schedule and Location The position operates on a 4x10 hour day schedule with three days off per week. Selected employees will perform part of their work remotely and part at the designated Lockheed Martin facility. The RMS business unit is located in Moorestown, NJ.
