
Technical Director - Industrial Water

Key Responsibilities
Leverage and build relationships with key Industrial Water and BV sales forces to identify new pursuits, pre‑position, propose, interview and capture new business, focusing on life sciences, semiconductor, mining, oil & gas, technology, and heavy industry/manufacturing clients.
Lead strategic planning for Industrial Water clients globally, building deep client relationships, expanding volume of work, and ensuring flawless project execution—particularly in high‑purity, high‑reliability manufacturing environments such as semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Serve as a seller‑doer on applicable projects with support from BV Project Management, local resources, and global Solution Teams.
Interface with F&NR Solution groups (Treatment, Water Resources & Community Planning, Environmental, Civil Works) to integrate Solution capabilities into client service offerings.
Serve as a technical resource and mentor for the BV Project Management Team.
Assist in developing and implementing training programs for flawless Industrial Water project execution with G&C Solution groups, support disciplines, and BV Project Management.
Monitor, understand, and report to upper‑level management the key drivers for industrial water customers.
Attract and source key talent to grow and mentor regional and solution teams.
Track industrial water market trends and identify growth services and geographic markets for BV.
Interface with F&NR Solution Groups and BV marketing staff to prepare marketing materials and thought leadership articles in developing markets.
Prepare quarterly updates on trends and recommendations for future direction in BV industrial water services.
Management Responsibilities Acts as a project manager, overseeing a project team whose composition varies by project.
Preferred Qualifications
20+ years of Industrial Water experience.
Experience supporting semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including water supply, treatment, reuse, and wastewater solutions in regulated or high‑purity environments.
Industry experience across life sciences, semiconductors, mining, oil & gas, technology, and heavy industry/manufacturing.
Client‑facing/business development experience or a client role with experience acquiring professional services.
Experience executing and implementing strategic planning activities.
Experience attracting, growing, and leading project teams and executing projects.
Familiarity with Industrial Water drivers and key clients.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Work Environment/Physical Demands

Typical office and construction environments, extreme weather, high noise, safety hazards (electric currents, scaffolding and high‑place work, chemical exposure), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation).
