Job Overview The Marketing Analyst is a valued member of our Marketing Operations Team and collaborates to develop data‑driven insights to support strategic and tactical decision making. This role will take the lead on collection, interpretation and integration of all aspects of data sources to drive financial performance. This is a hands‑on role that leads the translation of a variety of data into meaningful opportunities, provides insights based on a deep knowledge of brands, sales, market environment and evolving health care systems. This role contributes to the improvement of operational metrics (revenue, utilization, client satisfaction and opportunity pipeline) through the execution and development of operational processes. This position is located onsite in East Windsor, New Jersey with one day a week remote and reports into the Senior Director, Marketing Operations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer support now or in the future and reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
Responsibilities
Provide insights and analytics support for marketing and sales area within the acute and non‑acute categories which may include product information, market landscape analysis, competitive intelligence, sales, data, pricing, or other data needed to make data‑informed decisions in support of growing business and meeting financial forecasts
Identify critical business drivers / opportunities and develop recommendations to guide strategy
Design and run:
Management and KPI reports to support operations, sales, and business leadership
Ad‑hoc analysis to answer key questions from leadership, sales, marketing
Reports to model future performance based on historical data, i.e. market pricing, share analysis, etc.
Perform analysis and develop insights based on various market dynamics, including Health System impact, market access influence and other market players
Conduct deep dives on specific topics within product areas to find root causes, identify opportunities and define solutions
Contribute to the improvement of operational metrics (revenue, utilization, client satisfaction and opportunity pipeline) through the execution and development of operational processes
Conduct reporting in Excel and business analysis tools such as Power BI
Execute operational initiatives such as opportunity management, resource planning, management tracking and forecasting, customer relationship management, customer satisfaction program, or infrastructure projects
Partner with external organizations including consultants, data providers and information technology partners
Generate local market insights to inform commercial strategy, planned tactics and execution
Partner with Marketing and Sales to plan and execute key initiatives based on insights and recommendations
Collaborate with other insights & analytics functions to align on strategy, share insights and learn from best practices
Conducting objective secondary data analysis and communicate insight story of synthesizing different sources and types of data
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales Operations to support business planning process
Provide strategic guidance to support existing products and key new product launches
Create, maintain and distribute market share reports, latest estimate data, and pricing files
Prepare invoices for management signoff and track actual spend vs op ex budget

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Teams and Power BI preferred
Strong excel skills required; skilled in working with large datasets
Experience with IQVIA data preferred
Experience in utilizing Salesforce preferred but not required
Pharmaceutical analytics and/or consulting experience is strongly preferred
Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, environment, with a focus on delivering high quality analytics, insights, and reports
Innate intellectual curiosity, demonstrated desire to take initiative and ability to think creatively to solve problems
Project management, quantitative analysis skills required
Effectively work in a regulated industry
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or Business.
Master's degree is preferred
1‑2 years analytics experience; 1+ years advanced analytics and data visualization skills
Prior generic pharmaceutical experience a plus
The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $76,000.00 depending on factors such as experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Final compensation decisions will consider these and other relevant business needs. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus, with target percentages varying by role. The total compensation package may also include discretionary incentives and role‑based monthly allowances (e.g., cell phone or car allowance, where applicable).
